A Brother’s Murder
Conceptualization and production of an interactive piece that presents a non-lienar story.
Brief: We were given the text “A Brother’s Murder” written by Kafka and asked to
turn the story into an interactive non-linear product using Macromedia
Director, digital sound and video.
Team: Ana Gomez (Portugal), Stefanie Warreyn (Belgium), Sohn Ho (China).
Role: Usability Tester
Target Audience: English-speaking undergraduate communication students.
Outcome: The result product was an interactive crime-solving adventure on the process
I particularly enjoyed and learned that paper prototyping is a great
aid in order to refine and solve concept weakness before starting to build.
In order to have a smoother process on user testing it is always important
to make a proper test plan testing particular components or establish
specific tasks.
