How I did it: Applied as a student and asked my work to help me with the traveling expenses.
My colleague Ione hosted me in her parents house, they where really lovely.
Lessons & tips: I wish Malofiej was not only a place for professional recognition but also a space for diffusion and that they promoted other disciplines to come and explore how data visualization could improve their worlds.
